As most of you have noticed I’m sure, during the last couple of weeks Paul has been tweeting about music by Richard Marx he has been listening to. A few days ago, he took the things one step further. During an event at Incheon, Korea, on the 10th of May, Paul performed one of Richard Marx’s songs called “Best of me”.

Another thing that most people who visit this page know already is that Paul is in the process of selecting material for his next album. It is not beyond the impossible to see this or some other Richard Marx’s song featured on Paul’s next album. So…if there is any feedback you’d like to share, or an opinion, please do not hesitate to do so either here or on Paul’s facebook or YT pages.

Paul Potts in Dubai

As most of you have heard already, Paul was in Dubai recently to perform for a German insurance company. Julz tagged along (it is never hard to convince her to go where the sun is) and she recorded these videos, which were then later uploaded to Paul’s official Youtube channel.

Paul Potts and Shaheen Jafargholi Appear on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire

Our favorite tenor stars on a special charity episode of Britain’s Who Wants To Be a Millionaire to be aired on May 6 at 7.15pm on ITV1. The special features several BGT stars, including 15-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi, dance duo Twist and Pulse, and Stavros Flatley (Demetrios Demetriou and Lagi Michalakis).

Here’s a new news story with more information about the show. But we still don’t know how Paul and Shaheen did.

Paul Potts: What DO You Do when Your Life Changes in an Instant?

In a new blog post, Paul talks about that fateful day five years ago and how his life has changed since then:

What was I thinking? I’m not sure I know! It was such a whirlwind especially as the whole show in my year was over with in a single week, and since then I have never stopped living each day from one to the next, thanking my lucky stars that an opportunity I never dreamed would come to me had suddenly jumped in front of me thanks to a lucky ten pence piece.

He then goes on to talk about this year’s BGT contestants and addresses some words of encouragement and advice especially to Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli:

What I would say is this: Don’t not change just because your afraid of changing. You will hold yourself back. You need to develop as a person and this may involve certain parts of you changing too ….

And he ends with a sentence that brings thrills to the hearts of all his devoted fans:

I am now preparing for my fourth album, and that is something I never dreamed I would say.

Paul Potts and Emiri Miyamoto: “A thousand winds”

Paul’s latest song was released on 7th of March 2012 in Japan. This song is collected in Japanese violinist Emiri Miyamoto’s album “Renaissance”. The album is for memory of the victims of 311 earthquake in Japan and encourages them to go out of sadness. The orchestra is from Sendai, which suffered most damage by tsunami. Paul’s ‘A thousand winds’ is perfectly arranged in this album. His warm voice comforts all the people who lost their beloved in this disaster.
