Ian, Noe – I hope you all get to see it soon, I wouldn’t have known the answer to the £50.000 – it was about whether a £5, £10, £20 or £50 was the most circulated in the UK and they only had seconds to give their answer. They said £10 but it was wrong – it was £20.
Paul and Shaheen did very well on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire – they won £20,000 which they shared between their chosen charities. Great to see Paul back on UK TV again!
Paul tweeted yesterday, “A bit of a travelling weekend coming up: Fly to frankfurt for a gig in Wiesbaden on Saturday and then back Sunday then Seoul Monday…” Busy busy guy!! Hope he finds time to record that fourth album!
Well, as some of you might have seen on twitter, Paul performed for the German insurance company Generali in Dubai. I would liked to have been there! But it was a private event, of course!
You are such a lucky guy, Dirk, getting green with envy!I can’t travel to the concerts again, not only because of my hip but also of my spine. It’s too much of a strain for me now, but you will give us a full report, won’t you Dirk? Thanks for your understanding!
I live in San Francisco and I could listed to Paul sing all day and all night too. He has a healing, and soothing voice that makes you stop what your doing and listen. Can he please schedule a concert in San Francisco, California USA. Please, please, please. I know his concert will be a sell out.
Ian – latest news on tickets for the Philharmonic concert is that they should be available end of March / begining of April – I shall keep ringing up to check.
noe, I remember that he mentioned Doctor Zhivago, then we have Cinema Paradiso album. He talked about poem of “a thousand winds”, we got this wonderful song.. So I hope that he is doing his 4th album.. Am I thinking to much? LOL
Noe, I’m one of those people who finds much healing in listening to Paul sing. There is a ‘magic’ in his voice that deeply affects me. And I always tell him how his songs affect me. I think that kind of feedback is important. This newest song even though it was just half the song, made me weep, for hours. I put it on replay and just let it work its magic on me. Paul is a genius in his own right. There are many singers but a ‘soul singer’ is rare. BTW, the mp3 is available on Amazon.
Erika, I don’t think she was equating Paul to Mozart and Beethoven. She was talking about the music that calms her bipolar disorder, and in that context I think it’s perfectly appropriate. I would certainly have both Paul and Beethoven (not so much Mozart) on a list of music that calms and soothes me.
Very best California wishes to everyone in the family for the best holiday season ever. And Paul, thank you for another year of glorious music, goosebumps, charm and inspiration.
wow..what a great performance last night in KKL Lucerne, one of the best concert halls i`ve ever been. And it was so great to meet Adam, Judy and Sally again. So this was the last show in this year for me. We`ll see what the next year brings.
Hi 8tigers. Unfortunately, I think we could only repost it in googlish, and that wouldn’t be pretty. Will explore the options, but thank you very much for finding it!
just arrived in Nuernberg. Surprised Paul yesterday with my unexpected visit in Heilbronn. Was a great show again No one day free-time until the next show here in Nuernberg tomorrow. Beautiful weather for photographing. So my stalker-radar is ready to go
Hey all,
another great show yesterday. Had a wonderful time with some family members. Hope to see you soon again. Can`t post pictures at that time. Hope it will work better in the next city.
wowowow…today it was pauls best show i`ve seen until now. Everything fit perfectly together, from the venue, the very enthusiastic audience, the two ladies wish support Paul, the orchestra and of course our Paul himself. He is a truth singing genius and blessed with such a wonderful gift. He sang absolutely beautiful and with so much passion. Looking forward to the next five shows in Germany. A particular report will be on soon.
hi Chris. Erika found that B&W portrait somewhere on the web. From what I could figure out it was from an interview in Japan in 2009. Everything all right on the west coast?
Thanks Matko & thanks Erika. Things are good here. Autumn has finally arrived, if a bit late. (L.A. does indeed have seasons–contrary to popular belief). Hope everyone is doing well.
That black and white portrait of Paul in the gallery is great! Where did it come from? The line on the bottom is How we REALLY did it. What does that mean? It would make a handsome cover for a CD.
Happy birthday, Paul! Meeting friends later to celebrate your birthday, and sending all good wishes your way. Thanks for all the happiness you’ve brought us! (This is Rebecca–it wouldn’t let me use my name!)
That performance of E Lucevan Le Stelle is spine-tingling. It is wonderful to see Paul allowing himself to really act the aria as well as sing it superbly. I could picture him on stage in the opera. And that ovation after ND is thrilling too.
Hi all, I searched utube for Paul’s name in Korean, off a tag on one of Hans’ videos. Found an un-named concert from May. Here’s the link to the channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/micheal0430
Oh Paul, you are making me jealous of Germany and Korea once again! How I long to see California on your schedule–I don’t even care anymore if it is north or south, I’ll be there proudly wearing my Paul Potts WorldWide Family button thanks to Shirley’s generosity.
Hi Chris, it’s been a while! Everything all right? The way things are going, you’ll have to make that trip over the pond! or even better (closer) to you – perhaps Japan in the future!
Thank you Mod Larry. Sorry for the tough work to you.. But we’ll wait for it. Just take your time. Thank you so much for bringing all sweet memories back.
Hi Ruth. There are two boxes on our home page – one chat box for exchanging instant messages with other users who are online at that moment, and other comments box where you can post your comments. Currently we are not considering setting up a forum, but thank you for your suggestion, and welcome to the site.

Hi everyone … I’m taking the weekend off to celebrate my birthday. You’ve posted some great stuff while I’m off. I’ll give it the attention it deserves tomorrow. (Will also continue working on the registration/login interface.)
Well, can’t find a place on my Profile page to leave this, so I’ll put it here. This is from my Profile Page on PPWWF MySpace.
For a humble man, with a heart as large and as generous as your talent, I dedicate this tribute to you Paul Potts; the man who lit the beacon of inspiration and hope for the world … and for me.
TRIBUTE TO PAUL POTTS
In a world that often loses sight of what is good,
Of what is pure and what is right;
You came as a beacon to light up the world
With your indomitable spirit that would try,
With the toss of a coin, just one – more – time.
The nationwide call for new talent, for a new star;
Britain’s Got Talent 2007, a new show, a new search.
In South Wales, the call was answered, by a store manager;
And in an ordinary audition, the extraordinary happened.
The eyes of the world looked upon one event, one man.
The heart of the world beat with nervous anticipation
And united with one breath, to follow one person;
On his journey from obscurity onto the world stage.
A nation’s heart swelled with pride, as one son grew
To show the world, that a rare jewel can be found;
From the dustiest corners, from the ordinary places.
You showed us humility that is born of adversity;
An amazing talent, that rises up from the ordinary;
A wavering and near-spent dream, that slowly flickers into life;
An ordinary and humble man, who conquers the world.
And on a planet plagued with conflict, rent in disharmony,
Drowning in hopelessness born of disunity;
We laid down our differences, our prejudice, our hate
And forged a united bond to cheer on one man.
We found a reason to believe in our world,
To believe in ourselves … to believe in our dreams;
Because we found our light in you, Paul Potts.
Not all of us will rise up, not all of us will succeed;
But we who were moved in heart and spirit,
By you and your phenomenal rise to glory;
Will forever know the joy and the victory that comes …
When one of us succeeds.
This website is completely separate from our MySpace page. It’s sort of a replacement for the time being. Our MySpace page is still there, but is unupdate-able due to the changes made some time ago by MySpace.
Does this website replace the PPWWF Myspace website or does it link with it? BTW, I’m using an alternate User name because my real one has just been rejected, inspite of the fact that it accepted it at registration. A bit confused about that …
MOD, now it will expand as comments are added, up to 25 comments. After that, you can scroll or click ALL to see older comments. There will also be a comments archive page with the entire history of comments. Soon. But first, I need to go buy some groceries., Hubby is hungry.

Paul tweeted yesterday, “A bit of a travelling weekend coming up: Fly to frankfurt for a gig in Wiesbaden on Saturday and then back Sunday then Seoul Monday…” Busy busy guy!! Hope he finds time to record that fourth album!

Thank you noe, for shortening the address for me.
Wow … great find, Ian!!
Just found Paul’s family pictures.. http://bit.ly/GOWECC

Wondering why Paul mentioned Richard Marx recently, is that something related to his next album??
Ian, he mentioned Marx several times. He seems to really enjoy his music.
Wow! The last five years with Paul have really flown. Thanks to all who make this site such fun.
Thanks for all the hard work you all do, for this wonderful site <3
It’s a joy to do!

Larry, didn’t you succeed in copying some of the PPMSF material? It would be such a pity if it were lost for us!
@8tigers Thanks for your lovely comment and the note about the mp3 on amazon. Here’s the link: http://www.amazon.com/Im-missing-you/dp/B00704AZCM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327340936&sr=8-1

Last working day before lunar new year vacation, will be off for 9 days holidays~ Wish all a great dragon year~
Noe, thanks for your explanation, I see how it was meant now.
Noe, to mention Paul in one breath with Beethoven and Mozart is not quite appropriate, I think.
I often wonder if PRP knows how important his music is to some people. http://www.mdjunction.com/forums/bipolar-support-forums/lounge/3380249-music-therapy-and-what-works-for-you
Nah…I think we’ve spoilt him too much!!!

What a great idea! Thanks for the link. We’ll post these videos after we catch up with the current ones.
Yes Hans, thanks a million for keeping up on the videos. They are such a treat.
Thanks hans for all these fabulous videos!!
Hi Matko. I’ve been finishing up the manuscript for my new book. It’s been hectic. Nice to hear from folks here!
Oh Paul, you are making me jealous of Germany and Korea once again! How I long to see California on your schedule–I don’t even care anymore if it is north or south, I’ll be there proudly wearing my Paul Potts WorldWide Family button thanks to Shirley’s generosity.
Chris, I’ll meet you there!
Hi Chris, it’s been a while! Everything all right? The way things are going, you’ll have to make that trip over the pond!

You may move your concert reveiws from my space to here!! Thank you noe for help.

Thank you Mod Larry. Sorry for the tough work to you.. But we’ll wait for it. Just take your time. Thank you so much for bringing all sweet memories back.
Hi Ian… I’m working on that right now. It’s taking a LONG time because of the changes that MySpace made. AARRGGHH!!!
If not trouble, could Larry move all the blog on myspace to here? That will connect our past to here.
Very nice, i suggest webmaster can set up a forum, so that we can talk and communicate.

In a world that often loses sight of what is good,
Of what is pure and what is right;
You came as a beacon to light up the world
With your indomitable spirit that would try,
With the toss of a coin, just one – more – time.
The nationwide call for new talent, for a new star;
Britain’s Got Talent 2007, a new show, a new search.
In South Wales, the call was answered, by a store manager;
And in an ordinary audition, the extraordinary happened.
The eyes of the world looked upon one event, one man.
The heart of the world beat with nervous anticipation
And united with one breath, to follow one person;
On his journey from obscurity onto the world stage.
A nation’s heart swelled with pride, as one son grew
To show the world, that a rare jewel can be found;
From the dustiest corners, from the ordinary places.
You showed us humility that is born of adversity;
An amazing talent, that rises up from the ordinary;
A wavering and near-spent dream, that slowly flickers into life;
An ordinary and humble man, who conquers the world.
And on a planet plagued with conflict, rent in disharmony,
Drowning in hopelessness born of disunity;
We laid down our differences, our prejudice, our hate
And forged a united bond to cheer on one man.
We found a reason to believe in our world,
To believe in ourselves … to believe in our dreams;
Because we found our light in you, Paul Potts.
Not all of us will rise up, not all of us will succeed;
But we who were moved in heart and spirit,
By you and your phenomenal rise to glory;
Will forever know the joy and the victory that comes …
When one of us succeeds.
Hi, if I wanted to leave a written Tribute for Paul, where should I put it on this website please?
Testing, testing
Thanks to Matko for the nice flavicon for our site!
Hello~~ Nice comment box~~
This website is completely separate from our MySpace page. It’s sort of a replacement for the time being. Our MySpace page is still there, but is unupdate-able due to the changes made some time ago by MySpace.
@Lordstormreaver Yes, this is our new home. I don’t know what’s going on with the names. It’s on my list of things to fix.
Hi Peg!
Does this website replace the PPWWF Myspace website or does it link with it? BTW, I’m using an alternate User name because my real one has just been rejected, inspite of the fact that it accepted it at registration. A bit confused about that …
ok i’ll give it a shot. hello mod hello noe.
MOD, now it will expand as comments are added, up to 25 comments. After that, you can scroll or click ALL to see older comments. There will also be a comments archive page with the entire history of comments. Soon. But first, I need to go buy some groceries., Hubby is hungry.
Longer board coming up!
Can this board be made longer???
Hmmm…. seems to work!
Testing from Lawn Guyland!
I’ll add a widget so people can register and log in a little later. In the meantime, anonymous comments are welcome.
New comments board installed! I hope you like it!
Good morning!!!
Here’s a comment from me!
Testing a new comments box, as I would really like to get rid of the google friends connect box and use something that recognizes our ppwwf members.
