Wheeee! The Weinstein Company, producers of the Paul Potts biopic, have put the One Chance screenplay up for consideration for a best screenplay Oscar. So they posted the screenplay online where people can read it.
I read it today, and it must be an early version, because some of my favorite lines from the trailer (I haven’t had a chance to see the movie) are not there. Even so, it’s a fun read! Here’s the link: One Chance screenplay (PDF)
PS My guess is that the screenplay will disappear after nominations are announced. So get your copy now!
Here’s the latest interview with Paul, where he talks about his favorites on this album. Can you guess which ones they are?
Here’s the link with a performance of Time to Say Goodbye from the QVCUK
Paul has posted a new blog, reflecting on the past 6 + years and where it all started at the Cardiff Millennium Center. He is still amazed that the anticipated end of his dream to sing launched into a career performing for the world. Even now he is still amazed that he is able to do what he loves doing. Here’s the link : It All Started Here!
If you missed the QVC UK advance sale for the Greatest Hits Album, it is available on preorder until it is released on Nov 5th on Amazon.com

Here’s the whole background story written by the pottsmeister, himself. We recommend the unabridged version where Paul Potts reads the intro, recounting the jitters just before going onto the stage for his first taped performance on BGT with his trademark deprecating charm.
